Nanuet Little League is based in the hamlet of Nanuet in Rockland County, New York, and is a member league of N.Y. District 18 of Little League, Inc. Our league features baseball and softball programs for boys and girls ages 5 to 18. Nanuet Little League was founded in 1959 and its total enrollment is currently approximately 500 players.

The objective of the League shall be to implant firmly in the children of the community the ideals of good sportsmanship, honesty, loyalty, courage and respect for authority, so that they may be well adjusted, stronger and happier children and will grow to be good, decent, healthy and trustworthy citizens.

To achieve this objective, Nanuet Little League will provide a supervised program under the Rules and Regulations of Little League Baseball, Inc. All directors, officers and members shall bear in mind that attainment of exceptional athletic skill or the winning of games is secondary, and the molding of future citizens is of prime importance.

Our Mission

Nanuet Little League is a non-profit organization affiliated with Little League International.

Our mission is to "promote, develop, supervise, and voluntarily assist in all ways, in the interest of those children who will participate in Little League Baseball and Softball."

Through guidance and leadership, Nanuet Little League and our carefully selected volunteers, assists our children in developing the qualities of citizenship, discipline, teamwork and physical well-being. By espousing the virtues of character, courage and loyalty, the Nanuet Little League Baseball and Softball program is designed to develop superior citizens rather than superior athletes.
